We have indeed come a long way since the early twentieth century that we began to celebrate International Women's Day to the present. But the fact remains that there are still sections and data remind us that we have much to be done to make legal equality equally effective .. Also, our education system, how could it be otherwise, echoes the list of inequalities that still persist today between men and women, trying to bring a bit to contribute to the eternal goal of equality.
The full incorporation of women into working life, academic and professional orientation of girls free gender bias, preparing women to assume positions of leadership and development of entrepreneurship and self-esteem professional couple or wage levels, are some of the goals towards which our schools are guided by a commitment champions government clearly spelled out in our plans and laws.
This week, many schools in the province use the occasion of International Day for Women to develop creative and educational activities in which some are openly claiming continued on these goals benefit on society as a whole both women and men.
The preparation banners, pamphlets and literary works that decorate the centers, the development of tasks tutorials, workshops and scavenger hunts in which they share the housework, holding lectures, debates and round tables (sometimes with the collaboration of external institutions and associations working for equality) and theatrical performances with the women players are some of the most relevant experience which, these days, are common in our schools and colleges.
"Equality sum, inequalities remain and your personal position can multiply or divide"
Happy Day Women!
